This page describes the current student-facing website. Scrub Notes does not require student accounts or passwords.

Progress stored in your browser

Some interactive tools use browser local storage or session storage to remember study progress, quiz results, virtual coins, achievements, and preferences. These records generally remain on the device or within the browser session until cleared, overwritten, or reset. Other tools may not retain results at all.

Portable Study Passport codes

A Study Passport recovery code contains an encoded snapshot of selected study progress, awards, and missed-topic statistics. The code is not an account or an online lookup key; whoever possesses it may be able to read and restore the included data. Do not share codes publicly or include personal or clinical information.

Practice notes and patient information

Some charting exercises can retain text locally in the browser. Use fictional or completely de-identified cases only. Do not enter names, dates of birth, patient IDs, photographs, or other protected health information. Patient-note content is not part of Study Passport recovery codes.

Website delivery and hosting

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request details, security signals, and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect site traffic under its own applicable terms and privacy practices. This website does not currently provide an operator-managed remote student-progress database.

Third-party links and future advertising

The study materials link to independent clinical and educational references. Following external links takes you to those sites, with their own privacy practices. This release does not add an advertising network to the site. If advertisements or analytics are enabled in the future, this policy must be updated to disclose the provider, cookies, identifiers, data use and any required privacy or consent choices before activation.

Manage your information

Use each tool's reset features or your browser's site-data controls to clear saved study information. Keep a copy of any recovery code before clearing data if you want to restore it later. Browser data may be lost when clearing history, changing devices, or using private browsing.
